The village neighbourhood plan is being tested at a referendum to be held at the Burghwallis pub on 27th October
You can see the final submission here. It details the key issues that local residents requested at the various public meetings held over the past two years. Your vote is important to ensure the plan is accepted locally and by the DMBC. By now you will have received notice of the referendum through the post from the DMBC elections team. Remember you don’t have to take the letter with you, so if you loose it or it becomes a vital shopping list for ASDA don’t worry – you just need to turn up at the Burghwallis pub where the poll station team will verify your voting right.
