2. Minutes of the meeting held on 9th December 2025
RESOLVED that the minutes be signed.
3. Update from Ward Councillors
Nothing to report. No one in attendance
4. Matters arising from the minutes.
• Trees and branches were reported on Abbes Walk causing power lines to go out. Some trees look dead near Squirrel wood.
RESOLVED to chase up
• Fly Tipping – on going.
A recent litter pick was organised with 16 volunteers.
Litter still to be collected along with gas canisters collected. Bags left on Burghwallis Lane, Burghwallis Road & Scorcher Hills Lane.
A WhatsApp group has been created for all the current fly tipping volunteers.
• Flooding/Culverts –Ongoing works to start in April 26.
• Christmas Lunch update. Well attended. Raffle prizes to be collected throughout the year.
5. Financial Matters

Bank statement & up to date accounts circulated
RESOLVED that the accounts be approved, cheques and bank statement signed.
Clerk requested extra hours as work has increased significantly in the 10 years on the Parish Council
RESOLVED agreed to increase to 3 hours per week

7. Correspondence
All Circulated and dealt with.
Anti-Social behaviour – Cars driving thru the village and parking at the woods was discussed. This has all been reported to the police but is still on going.
Resignation received from Councillor Shaun Slack with immediate effect. Councillor Slack was thanked for all his hard work on the Parish Council and will be sorely missed. A new Vice chair to elected at the next meeting.
RESOLVED to contact Doncaster council and advertise the vacancy
8. Website
Up to date.
A discussion took place with regards to the website and extra emails for a new .gov website. Quotes previously received are still valid.
RESOLVED to enquire on the transfer of all information currently on the website.
9. Next Meeting
The next meeting to be held at The Burghwallis Public House commencing at 7pm.
