1. Apologies for absence

RESOLVED to accept apologies.

• Minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 11^th July 2023

RESOLVED that the minutes be signed. 

• Matters arising from the minutes.
• Registration completed for the Defibrillator.

• Financial Matters

400433 £450.20 Clerk Salary July, August & September

400434 £97 HMRC Salary July, August & September

RESOLVED that the accounts payable be approved and the cheques and bank statement signed.

All circulated and dealt with accordingly.

Abbes Walk resurfacing notice has been received for closure in September.

Councillor Slack reported on Abbes Walk currently being a meeting point for cars and requested a police presence on the lane.

Abbes Walk and Scorcher Hills Lane are the main areas of fly tipping problems.  These all being reported and removed promptly.

Councillor Training in September for Councillor Slack.  Clerk to check for vacancies for Councillor McIlroy.                                                                                   Action: JH

Christmas Lunch – Prices have been requested from Burghwallis Pub and 6^th December provisionally booked.

Christmas Tree – Councillor Grimes to investigate prices and delivery     Action: BG

North Community Engagement Meeting – Councillor Maxwell reported he had recently attended the meeting (Formerly PACT Meetings)

Next meetings are:

25^th September in Askern commencing at 6pm

27^th November in Scawthorpe commencing at 6pm

Plenty of information received and requested presence of the Police at future meetings.
