Many of us are disinterested, intrigued, or deeply worried about fracking. Maybe it will provide us with a new source of energy which will reduce our reliance on suppliers from, erm, Russia for example. Assuming the government will not give the rights away for 3p and the energy companies involved will not grab profit at all costs….enough of utopia … you might, in the meantime be interested to see the following maps which show the reserves that surround Burghwallis. Nothing is happening at the moment, but as the DMBC (now City of Doncaster Council) say they could be approached at any time in the future by exploration companies.
