If you are of a certain age you are invited to the Christmas lunch in the Burghwallis Pub function room. The gravy will be brought to the boil at 12:00 for a 12:30 start. The lunch is complimentary, care of the funds raised from the Parish Council Poor’s Field fund and is by ticket only, which are available from Jill Laming on 01302 701395.
There will be entertainment by Chris Woolvern who is the chairman of DU3A and it promises to be an enjoyable occasion.
