Closed Grange Lane

Grange Lane took on an eerie appearance whilst an electrical supply cable was buried along its edge near the village notice board. Normally Joe and Joanne Soap rip along at speeds that would have Louis Hamilton stop and stare. Ironically Louis doesn’t like driving on normal roads; he finds them ‘scary and dangerous’.

Thus for a few quiet days you could walk down the middle of Grange Lane and reflect on what it was like a couple of hundred years ago when only a few horse and carts trotted along. Oh and more recently when Covid restrictions were in place. OK we’ll ignore the van that assumed the closure did not apply to him – and eventually ripped back dodging past the road signs like a chicane!
